The great thing about this is you really don’t have to spend a lot to give a lot. Purchasing when the prices are low will allow you to purchase so much more for your dollars. In the end, you’ll be able to give gifts that are much more desired then what you’ve ever paid. I don’t think that there is anything wrong with that idea!
Another place to find good Christmas gifts on the cheap is at garage sales. A good example of this is when you find something that looks really really good and can be easily repackaged as a gift. By the way, don’t overlook some of the older items at garage sales. I have been thrilled when someone is found something that I’ve been looking for for some time even if it is in rough shape when I just can’t find myself.
To me this would also be a very good Christmas gift. One final place you should always check out as well, is your local thrift stores. In our consumer society it’s not unusual to find brand-new things at your local thrift store for less than half the original going price. In many cases, the item is still in its original box yet to be opened. My wife and I recently purchased a kitchen appliance in that very situation.
Also check out the clothes that are available at your local thrift store. You can find some really nice clothing and again sometimes brand-new clothing for less than half the original going price. If you know the other person size, this could be a slamdunk good Christmas gifts situation.
