Today though, we will be covering the top toys for Christmas 2009 from number five to the toy that currently holds the top dog spot for the hottest toys for 2009!
Without further ado, here’s your top five, counting from five to number one:
5. Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster Pipsqueek – Yellow
Taking position five is another Zhu Zhu pet called Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster Pipsqueek – Yellow.
Like the other Zhu Zhu pets, this one sports its very own special personality and sounds.
Pipsqueek will scamper across our floor, but also enjoys to be petted or loved. This toy as with the other Zhu Zhu line is suitable for ages 3 and older.

4. Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster Num Nums
Zhu Zhu pets once again. Taking spot number four is Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster Num Nums.
This mechanical hamsters love to skitter across the floor just like a mini bumper car! Plus like Num Nums cousins, he/she loves to be cuddled and loved.
Num Nums is a definitely going to be a hard to find toy as Christmas comes closer and closer.

3. Zhu Zhu Pets Adventure Ball
Coming in at number three is another Zhu Zhu Pets accessory, the Zhu Zhu Pets Adventure Ball.
This toy has had mixed reviews by our reviewers, but it is climbing very fast in the Amazon bestseller’s list.
With the Adventure Ball, you can put your Zhu Zhu Pet inside of it and it zips around just like a real hamster in the ball!
But some owners have been a bit frustrated by how it comes apart. But all things considered, it is considered a fun accessory to get when you have Zhu Zhu pets.

2. Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster Mr. Squiggles – Light Brown
Holding one of the top spots for the Zhu Zhu pet line is Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster Mr Squiggles – Light Brown.
This particular toy has climbed fast and furious into the top three, being a part of the Zhu Zhu craze.
This Zhu Zhu Pet has been quoted as being very cute and cuddly, much like its cousins.
Like all other Zhu Zhu pets, they move around, make unique sounds and are just plain kid fun!

1. Melissa & Doug Rainbow 6 Color Stamp Pad
Taking in the number one spot, is Melissa & Doug Rainbow 6 Color Stamp Pad.
This is a bit of a surprise but not to my reviewers. It is a surprise simply because it’s a timeless classic. Not high tech nor a modern toy.
This is not a surprise because it’s a timeless classic! Timeless toys will always hold top spots on the top 10 lists for toys.
It’s a great toy as it’s relatively inexpensive and it’s quite fun if you have other toys from the Melissa & Doug collection.
This toy is primarily geared to the age group of 4 years old and up.
