If you give them a certificate for a store that they never shop at, then you’ve wasted your money and it’s no longer a really great gift!

This may take a bit of investigative work, but even consider certificates for places they like to eat. For example, giving gift certificates to my teenage son for a hamburger joint is right up his alley!

You don’t have to spend a lot of money, but it could be quite important to recognize what the most recent and hottest items are in this person’s interests are.
